From the beginning, it was our community around us that embraced Miss Birdsong's Sweet Tooth™ and has helped us to grow. So it comes naturally for our business to look for ways to help our community. As a small business, we are limited in resources, but we have big hearts, a big vision, and we’re continually looking for ways to make a difference. Here are just a few.
Memphis Grizzlies Foundation - TEAMmates
TEAMmates is MMG’s mentor support and appreciation program, open to all active mentors and program staff in the MMG Affiliate Network. Through TEAMmates, mentors and program staff will have access to a variety of special offers at our TEAMmates providers across the Mid-South. These offers include free admission, 2-for-1 deals, discounts, and free tickets with our providers, which span entertainment, outdoor activities, museums, indoor activities, and food/drink.
Cooking Matters helps families to shop for and cook healthy meals on a budget, as part of Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign. Miss Birdsong donates her time as a volunteer cooking instructor for this program.
Another area is our support of Youth Villages a leading national nonprofit dedicated to providing the most effective local solutions to help emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully.
