Frequently Asked Questions

When will my items ship?

Your items will ship out on our regular shipping day, Wednesday unless an arrival date is requested at the time of your order. FedEx will use their discretion whether or not to leave a package at the door when no one is available to receive it. We cannot be held responsible for unclaimed packages due to incorrect addresses or packages that were left outside for a varying length of time.

Do you offer warm weather shipping?

Miss Birdsong's Sweet Tooth™ is not responsible for products when shipped during the hot summer months. But not to worry! For an additional charge we ship our products with dry ice. For shipping in certain warm weather regions, we use dry ice year round. To cover the cost of the additional packaging, a nominal charge of $5.00 can be added to your order if you choose. Dry ice is recommended between May 1st and October 31st.

What is your return policy?

We request the package and its contents be returned, pictures be taken of damaged products in the packaging, and that pictures be emailed to us in order to receive an online store credit for a future order or replacement order. However, there are exceptions in the event of damaged shipped packages. All damaged packages must be returned to the sender to guarantee an online store credit or replacement order at no extra charge to you. Please always try to choose a shipping address where someone will be available to receive the delivery as candy and chocolate confections are perishable.

What happens during a shipping delay?

Although FedEx is a very reliable shipping company; there are times when even they are unable to ship on-time. (EX. Extreme weather situations, national emergencies, etc.). Freshly prepared apples will be shipped as soon as proper delivery resumes. FedEx guaranteed delivery is not available in all areas. Please feel free to contact FedEx for further information at www.fedex.com.
